The Towers makes the season special for residents by helping them enjoy holiday traditions both old and new with festive parties and entertainment.

Everyone has their own traditions when it comes to holiday celebrations. Whether it is decorating your house, baking cookies or celebrating with family and friends, the holidays are a special time for everyone. Many clients who come to The Towers are apprehensive because of the thought of losing the familial connection, especially during the holidays. The Towers recognizes this trepidation with its incoming residents and takes great strides to prevent the holiday blues.
To kick off the holiday season at The Towers, our resident services department begins adorning the community in holiday twinkle and charm. Throughout every part of the community, the festive music splendor of Frank Sinatra and Dean Martin is heard. From the beautiful Christmas figurines set on tables throughout the community to the wreaths that are hung from the second-floor guest balconies, The Towers is sure to invoke everyone’s holiday cheer.
The Towers holds the annual tree-trimming party at the beginning of December. This is a time when the residents can gather with their friends and family to continue the traditions started in their own homes. A 15-foot Christmas tree is strung up with sparkling lights and shiny Christmas ornaments. All of our residents take turns adding ornaments to the tree and taking spins on the dance floor to holiday music. Homemade dishes from the residents’ kitchens line the lobby and help carry on the culinary traditions from holidays past.
To continue the holiday season, The Towers is filled with festive entertainment, residents’ holiday parties and visiting family staying in guest rooms. There are two types of family at The Towers: family you are born with and family you make when you move to The Towers. The collective resident support is what creates new families every day, and it’s the new and old families who make holidays at The Towers a special time for everyone.
