The Tobin Center’s BMW of San Antonio Signature Series embarks upon another brilliant season bringing Broadway’s award winners, smash hits, soon-to-be classics and never before seen in San Antonio premieres. The Tobin Center for the Performing Arts proudly invites you to experience groundbreaking, exquisite, hilarious and unforgettable theater this season in its state of the art H-E-B Performance Hall.
Kicking off the season is the winner of five 2015 Tony awards, including Best Musical. The surprising, moving, and captivating landmark musical Fun Home brings relatable, refreshing honesty to The Tobin Center on August 9-10, 2017.
Prepare to die with laughter with the four-time Tony award-winning (including Best Musical) A Gentleman’s Guide to Love & Murder that is slaying audiences all over! Don’t miss this killer opportunity to observe the uproarious story of Monty Navarro on March 11, 2018.
Feel the music this season as BMW of San Antonio Signature Series brings three incredible biographical musicals that explore the influences, passions and magical moments that shaped some of America’s most beloved and celebrated musical icons.
• Explore what fueled that unmistakable voice, filled with raw emotion and tinged with Southern Comfort, as A Night with Janis Joplin rocks the stage at The Tobin Center on January 24, 2018.
• Step inside the recording studio and relive that legendary night when one of the greatest jam sessions ever brought together rock ‘n’ roll icons Elvis Presley, Johnny Cash, Jerry Lee Lewis and Carl Perkins. See it all in the smash hit and award- winning Million Dollar Quartet on February 7, 2018.
• Cherish true emotion and bona fide friendship as Always…Patsy Cline honors an authentic correspondence between companions, while featuring 27 of Cline’s unforgettable hits – resonating in the H-E-B Performance Hall on April 8, 2018.
